This method is only for the Oneplus 5. Do not try it on any other device.
It is advisable to take a backup of your device before proceeding further.
Ensure that your phone has at least 70-80% charged to prevent the accidental shutdown in-between the process.

How to Install OnePlus 5 TWRP Recovery
Step1 – The first thing you have to do is to Download Fastboot / ADB package from the following links depending on your OS and extract it anywhere in your PC.
Windows: Download here!
OS X: Download here!
Linux: Download here!
Step 2 – Turn OFF your phone.
Step 4 – Download TWRP (twrp-3.0.3-1-oneplus5.img) then rename it to twrp.img and save it into the same directory as the extracted Fastboot/ADB package files.
Step 3 – The next thing you have to do is to Connect your OnePlus 5 to your computer via USB cable
Step 5 – Now go into Fastboot/Bootloader Mode on OnePlus 5. {Press Volume Up + Power keys for a few seconds till you see some text on the screen.} Now,you have successfully entered in bootloader
Step 6 –Now, Navigate to the same directory now as where you have Fastboot (i.e. Step 1) and on Windows: Open Command Prompt (Shift + Right-click > Open Command Prompt). For Mac OS X and Linux, use Terminal for navigating to this directory.
Step 7 – Type in the following command and press Enter on the device’s screen.
Step 8 – Now,you have to Enter in Recovery Mode (TWRP recovery) now. Turn OFF your device. Now you have press and hold the Volume Down + Power keys together until the OnePlus logo shows up. Once it does, release the Power button while still holding the Volume Down button until a screen of twrp shown.Step 8- Now install super-su.zip from twrp recovery.
